Three overlapping hearts sit center stage on this patriotic fireworks design. Centre heart carries the US flag with the blue star canton up top left and red plus white stripes wrapping the rest of the body. Left heart is solid red with darker striping, while the right one switches it up with a dusty pink leopard print. Behind all three a star burst of blue and red rays explodes outward with little stars scattered through the rays. Each heart gets a thick black satin outline so theyre suprised right out from the busy backdrop. Loud, summery, fourth-of-july energy.
Nine threads layer through this piece, mostly red, dark red, navy blue, white, grey, dusty rose, plus black. The middle US flag piece is the densest section because the stripes and star canton stack tight against one another. At full 4.5in scale the stitch count climbs to 32k. Back during the holiday rush in july one customer sewed the 4in version onto a stack of red bandanas for her village parade table, and they sold out by lunchtime. So good cookout-merch energy here.
Best fabric pick is plain light or medium cotton or canvas. Pop it onto cream cotton, oatmeal canvas, soft grey or pale stonewash denim, the red rays really sing against neutral cloth. Avoid stitching on midnight or jet, the navy canton blends right out and the leopard heart goes muddy. Skip stretchy knits too. Double up on cutaway, that centre heart plus the leopard fill both need full backing, theyll dimple on light tear-away. Hoop firm, drop machine speed around the satin outlines, take time on the dark-red to red swap because theyre close on the colour wheel and the bobbin pulls funny without a pause. Text me direct if a test piece reads off-centre and Ill talk you through the fix when im around.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
