Packed this heart full of pet prints and it ended up being one of the most dense and satisfying designs Ive made for animal lovers. The overall shape is a solid heart outline, and the inside is completely filled with red paw impressions of different sizes layered and overlapping each other. Scattered throughout are small black versions and tiny little heart outlines in black so theres alot of variation up close even though from a distance it just reads as a solid red heart. Two colours total, black and red, and the colour change happens just once.

Five sizes in this file, going from 4 inches wide at the small end up to 8 inches, with stitches ranging from 15,483 to 34,602. The density sits at 620 stitches per square centimetre which is fairly heavy, so tape a soft cutaway across the back on everything. Thats not optional here. The underlay holds all those overlapping sections together and if the backing isnt solid the whole area will bunch. Mid-sized hoop sits clean on fleece and on white or pale pink t-shirt both red and black read sharply.
