Heres my peacock head profile, drawn up to feel like a vintage natural history plate stitched in thread. Side view, fan crest spread up and out, beak parted abit, that amber ringed eye holding the whole face together. Built it for the customer who wants the bird without the giant tail train taking over the shirt.
13 colours pull alot of weight here. Cobalt blue dominates the neck and breast, teal layered into emerald green across the crown, the crest feathers tip out gold and cream, theres a pale facial cheek panel under the eye, black eye liner, and a coral orange flick on the beak edge. The directional stitching follows the feather flow so the neck reads soft and the crest reads stiff.
I get messages alot about this one for couture style projects. One customer last february stitched it on the back of a satin opera coat for a charity gala, and the photos came back proper magazine ready. People doing wedding waistcoats and statement totes have been buying it weekly.
9 sizes ranging 3.34 to 7.15 inch wide, stitch count 25,982 up to 65,861. Density runs high here, so the dense colour blocks need a stiff base. And dont skip a topping under satin or itll look fuzzy. Smallest size loses the cheek panel abit so id stick to medium and up where the eye detail counts. Pick a medium when in doubt, its the cleanest balance.
Stitch on cream silk, ivory satin, navy wool, denim and canvas tote. Skip thin viscose, the colour stack will pucker. And use a heavy cutaway stabiliser for stretch and a wash away topping for satin, the satin segments on the neck need a smooth bed. So pick mid weight or heavier wovens, the colour saturation pays off there.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
