This one is kinda the bow-forward version of the pencil design. The eraser and sharpened end barely show at the bottom; the entire visual weight sits on that oversized bow. Its big, its yellow, and the orange stripe fills running through each lobe of the satin make it look like a real gift ribbon rather than a flat filled shape. Density is 833 which puts it in the firm end of what I normally do, so the ribbon loops come out with a raised, almost sculptural feel on smooth fabrics. I get messages asking whether this is just a bow or actually a pencil and honestly both answers are right, which is what makes it work for back-to-school without being too literal.
Five colours: Yellow for the main bow body, Orange for the stripe fills inside each lobe, Pink for the eraser, White for the pointed section, and Black for all the outlines and sparkle stars. Four colour changes, 5 stops, 51 trims at the smallest size. Stitch range 14,282 at 2.79 inches all the way to 37,339 at 5.98 inches. Ive sized this to 4 inches for a white cotton monogram tee for a little girls back-to-school outfit back in late July and it looked like something from a boutique shop window. Add a name in running stitch below it and youre done.
Best on smooth tightly woven fabrics where the satin density reads properly: cotton poplin, cotton pique, or smooth canvas. Use a cutaway stabiliser for anything that moves or stretches. Avoid jersey knit at the smaller sizes because the stripe underlay needs a firm base to stay in register. Digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio with the bow stripe underlay set separately from the main satin so the stripes stay crisp between lobes.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
