A customer asked me last month for the perfectly-imperfect quote for her friend who teaches yoga and wanted something for her studio merch. The top word PERFECTLY is in tall bold block caps, super straight and serious. Sat right underneath, the word imperfect is done in this loopy cursive script that goes the other way, all swoops and curls. Honestly the visual joke is the whole point, the formatting itself proves the message.
A lil red heart sits centred below the cursive line. Just one small red heart, no extra stars or filigree, ya dont need it. Two colours total, black thread for the whole quote and red for the heart, makes it a quick stitch.
9 sizes go from 1.54 to 3.29 inches wide which is small footprint, fits on shirt pockets and chest placement easily. Stitch count stays low at 4.8k to 10.4k so its a fast stitchout, youll knock 6 of em out before lunch. Im realising the heart fill needs a tearaway stabiliser on tee fabric, the satin column is short enough that cutaway just feels like overkill.
Pop it on a chest pocket of a fitted black tee, the red heart pops against the black and the white thread reads clean. Or stitch it on a customising project like a denim jacket back panel, scaled up to the largest size for impact. Skip really textured fabric like terry, the cursive thins out on towel loops. Use a polyester thread for crisp letter edges. Run the underlay setting if your machine offers it, helps the block caps fill smooth.
Reach me on email if any colour reads dim on dark cotton.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
