Its about as clean as an embroidery design gets. One colour, one shape, and the whole thing says exactly what it means. Theres an open heart outline and inside the upper left of the curve sit two overlapping paw prints, the kind you know right away are a dog or a cats foot. No fill, no background, just the outline stitched in black and done.
Because its so stripped back it works at really small sizes without losing its shape. The 1.16-inch run is only 1,162 stitches, so youre talking a tiny corner monogram-style placement that comes off a machine in under two minutes. And yet scale it up to the 5.51-inch and the outline stays crisp and the paw print details hold their proportions, which is harder to get right than it sounds on a single-colour outline design.
Last month one customer stitched the 4.25-inch size onto a bandana in about 10 minutes, folded it and shipped it as a handmade dog birthday gift. Simple and it looked sharp. Thats kinda the sweet spot for this one, quick personalisation projects where you dont want thread changes or colour matching decisions slowing you down.
Run it on virtually anything. Denim, canvas, cotton tee, linen napkin, cotton drill collar. Single colour means single stabiliser decision. Use a tear-away on wovens, cutaway on knits. Skip topping unless the fabric has a heavy nap because the outline stitching is bold enough to push through light-weave cotton on its own. Hoop flat and the bobbin tension does the rest.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
