One customer ordered this on a Saturday and came back the same week for three more, one for each of her dogs. Its a paw print with a red heart right in the center pad. The paw is solid black fill, four toe ovals across the top, the large main pad at the bottom shaped a bit like a heart itself, and then theres a small solid red heart stitched directly into the middle of it. Two separate ideas but they make sense together.

2 colours, one colour change. Stitch count stays low across all 5 sizes, 2,333 stitches at the smallest 1 inch size up to 17k at 4.34 inches. The fills are dense at 783 density so the black reads solid and the red holds its shape even at the small end. Pop a layer of cutaway under it on any stretchy or textured fabric, the fills will shift on jersey without support. On woven cotton or denim it'll hold without much fuss.

Use this on pet bandanas, dog collars, pet memorial pieces, fabric keychains, baby onesies for dog families, tote bags. At 1 inch it works as a repeat across a bandana border, at 4 inches it stands alone on a pocket or sleeve. Skip satin fabric for this, the dense fill pulls against slippery surfaces. White, cream, navy, grey, red, all work as base colours because the two-colour design is high contrast enough to pop off almost anything.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Pet bandanas for dogs and catsRun the small 1 inch size as a repeat along the edge of a fabric bandana, two colours means quick swaps between dogs.
  • Dog mama or cat mama tote bagsStitch the 3 inch size on the front of a canvas tote for a dog owner, it reads clearly from across a room.
  • Pet memorial hoop framesFrame the 4 inch size in a round hoop as a simple pet memorial piece, add the pets name underneath in running stitch.
  • Baby onesies for households with petsUse the small size on a newborn onesie for a family with dogs or cats, low stitch count keeps the fabric soft.
  • Fabric keychains and bag charmsEmbroider on a small fabric square backed with fleece for a bag charm or keychain, the simple fills hold shape after handling.
  • Vet clinic or pet groomer branded merchandiseWorks well on branded merch for vet practices or groomers, solid fills read cleanly on both white and coloured shirts.
  • Pet adoption event gift bags and patchesStitch on a fabric patch for a gift bag at a rescue event, the paw heart combination needs no explanation.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
