Pine cone hanging below a wide evergreen branch thats sweeping left to right across the top, full and feathery. Those flat fir-needle clusters overlap so you cant see gaps. The branch forks in the middle and the cone drops from that fork, solid and rounded, rows of scale shapes stacked on each other. 2 colors, roughly 8,500 stitches at the smallest size up to just over 27,000 at 7.5 inches.

Its dark green and warm brown the whole way through. Stitch it on natural linen for the cleanest look. Anchor with tearaway under cotton twill, cutaway on fleece or anything thats got stretch to it. Hoop tight and keep density at whatever your machine recommends for fill stitch on medium-weight fabric. I get messages around november from people doing holiday linen gift sets and this ones always on the list, the branch shape and scale detail stitches up really nicely at the bigger sizes.

Pop it on a throw pillow cover in cream or oatmeal linen and its the kind of thing that looks like it came from a Nordic market stall. Works on winter table runners, embroidered tea towels, aprons, flannel shirt pockets. Hoops up nicely too if youre after wall art without buying a print. And if something doesnt look right when you open the files, just holler and I'll sort it out.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
