Right so its two shapes that share one line. The ribbon sits on the left, solid satin fill in that classic breast cancer pink. It loops and crosses the way awareness ribbons do, tails fanning out at the bottom. Then the line that would end the ribbon just keeps going and sweeps right into a big open-outline heart. Theres no fill inside the heart, just the thick curved border, so the whole thing feels airy and open on the right side while the ribbon is dense and bold on the left.

One colour. Six sizes from 1.92 by 2.51 inches up to five and 3/4 by 7.51 inches. Stitch count stays low too, maxing at eleven thousand five hundred and 22 on the largest, so its stitching up fast with no thread change stops at all. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio digitised this one. The contrast between the solid ribbon and the open heart outline is what gives it that split personality feel, and youre not needing a second thread colour to get there.

A customer told me last October she put the small size on a set of white cotton breast pocket tees for a charity walk fundraiser. She said the hot pink read clearly from a distance even at the smallest size, which tracked with how the satin fill density was set up. Pop the medium on a pink ribbon cap or the large on a tote, and it works just as well for a charity stall or awareness month display.

Hot pink thread on white or pale grey fabric is the obvious move here, and it works. But light ivory, soft blush or pale mint all make the pink sing too. Avoid dark backgrounds, that outline heart shape gets lost without a pale ground behind it. Use a light cutaway stabiliser for jersey or fleece. Hoop cotton firmly and youll be done in under 20 minutes on the mid-size.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
