Theres something kind of fun about a pink sleigh. Not the traditional red, not gold, just bright bubblegum pink with all those curled decorative runners underneath and the scrollwork on the sides. The cargo in the back is a red sack with tiny scattered stars printed across it in yellow satin stitches. A dark green ribbon bow drapes over the whole pile, and sitting just off to the right theres a tiny santa hat with a little holly berry and bell detail. Its a lot going on but it doesnt feel cluttered.

I tested it on a pink fleece scarf last november and the machine had no issues at all because its only 4 colours with just 3 colour changes. Red, pink, yellow, dark green. Clean sequence. At 514 density its not overly heavy so it runs fine on medium fleece without puckering. Use a tearaway on tightly woven cotton, cutaway on anything with stretch.

Wilcom EmbroideryStudio handled the fill on the sleigh body in long satin columns that follow the curve of the runners, so the pink actually reads as rounded rather than flat. The star details on the gift bag are individual satin-filled shapes. Smallest size is 6,759 stitches at 2.41 by 3.51 inches, largest is 14,964 stitches at 4.47 by 6.51 inches.

Pick this for girls christmas clothing, pink or white cotton tops, or fleece blankets. Add it to a fabric pouch panel or a plain canvas bag. Its also one of those designs that looks good on light grey, the pink pops without competing with the background. A customer last week used the 3.10 inch version for a batch of personalised christmas bags for a school fair and messaged me to say they sold out first. Text me if anything with the download isnt right and Ill send a replacement file straight away.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Pink or white cotton girls christmas topsThe 3.51 inch size fits a standard chest placement on girls sizes 4 to 10 comfortably
  • Light grey fleece blankets and throwsPink on grey fleece reads the scrollwork detail clearly at 4.47 inches
  • Gift bag fabric panels in pink or creamThe 2.41 inch width keeps the design compact enough for a fabric gift bag front panel
  • Cotton onesies for baby girls first christmasThe 4 colour sequence is simple enough for single-needle machines without thread swaps mid-run
  • Pink canvas tote bags and holiday bagsPink on pink cotton works because the black outline carries all the visual contrast
  • Quilted christmas cushion coversThe 6.51 inch version fills a large cushion front as a standalone centrepiece

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
