Its a classic daisy, and Im not gonna pretend its anything more complicated than that. The petals fan out in that familiar rounded way, all stitched in a soft pink with satin fills that sit flat and clean. Directional stitching runs petal by petal so each one catches light a lil differently, which gives it that garden-picked feel rather than a flat printed look. Theres a warm yellow centre that anchors everything and a short green stem below it. Mapped this in Wilcom, so the underlay is properly sequenced before the satin layers go down.

9 sizes in total, running from 3.5 inches on the small end right climbing to 7.5 inches for larger hooping. Stitch counts open at 6,216 and climb to 15,249 at the biggest size. Only 3 colours in the whole build, which makes this fast to stitch on cotton quilting fabric, linen, canvas, or denim without a massive colour-change stop every few minutes. A customer last spring told me she stitched a row of these on a linen table runner for a bridal shower and it came out better than she expected for the price point. Cant argue with that.

Pop a medium cutaway stabiliser under quilting cotton or linen and you wont have any shift issues mid-stitch. Woven fabrics are forgiving here because the design isnt dense enough to distort them. For waffle towels or knit fabric, layer a polymesh backer and add wash-away film on top to keep the pile from poking up through the petals. Skip dark navy or charcoal backgrounds because the pink doesnt have enough contrast density at 300 to punch through dark bases cleanly. Pale, cream, or white backgrounds are the sweet spot for this one.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Linen table runners for garden parties or bridal showersStitch a row of 3 at the 4-inch size along the hem of a linen runner for a tidy spring table setting.
  • Tea towels and kitchen linens with a cottage feelThe 5-inch size sits well centred on a standard tea towel without overcrowding the fabric.
  • Tote bags for a simple botanical accentRun the 4-inch version on natural canvas tote bags for a quick garden-market look.
  • Baby bibs and onesies for a soft floral touchAt 3.5 inches the design fits neatly on baby bibs with plenty of clear space around it.
  • Pillow covers for a spring bedroom refreshUse the 6-inch size on a pillow cover front panel for a noticeable but not fussy floral.
  • Canvas pouches and makeup bagsThe 3.5-inch version fits nicely on a zipper pouch front without crowding the zip edge.
  • Denim jacket patch or shirt pocket accentA single 4-inch daisy on a denim jacket chest pocket works well as a minimal botanical accent.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
