White or cream fabric is where this really pops. Skip anything dark and busy because the gold layer disappears against dark threads.

Stitch the letters first, then the snowflakes, then the paw prints last. That way any small registration differences in the outlines dont affect the main text. Works great on fleece, cotton jersey and canvas tote bags. Keep your thread tension a touch looser than usual on the thick outline sections or youll get some puckering at the curves.
