Seven words stacked one on top of another, each one filling its line so the whole block reads as a solid rectangle of text. Amazing at the top, then Loving, Strong, Happy, Selfless, Graceful at the bottom. And hidden down the left side, the first letter of each word spells Mother. Thats the trick of the design and people who see it always do a little double-take once they spot it.
The font is rounded and bubbly, the kind that reads as friendly rather then formal. Each word sits in a deep near-black fill and the acrostic letter on each row pops out in pink. So the M on Amazing is pink, the O on Loving is pink, all the way down to the R on Graceful. Two colour changes total and the registration is tight between them, those pink letters sit exactly flush with the black fill on either side.
8 sizes from about 2 inches up to 9 inches wide. The smallest fits on a collar or cuff, the biggest fills a pillow centre or a bag panel properly. Stitch count goes from just over 5k at the small size up to 25k on the large, so plan your backing accordingly. Hoop on woven cotton or fleece with standard tearaway and youre good, the font has clean closed shapes and solid underlay so it sits flat without anything fancy. Use a light-coloured fabric so the black text reads clearly and the pink letters really stand out.
This one has obvious mothers day appeal but it sells year round. I get messages from people who stitched it on anniversary gifts for grandmothers, on baby shower pouches, on just-because hoops. Last spring I had a run of them go out in a single week to people making teacher appreciation gifts. The acrostic format means it feels personal even though its a ready-made design.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Mothers day sweatshirts and teesStitch on a white or blush crewneck sweatshirt and the pink-and-black text reads sharp and clean from every angle across the room
- Framed hoop art for grandmothers and new mumsFrame at the medium or large size in a simple pine hoop and hang it in a nursery, bedroom or hallway as a personal wall piece
- Tote bags and canvas shoppers for mumWorks well centered on a natural canvas tote, the tall rectangular text block fills the bag face with good visual weight
- Pillow covers and cushion centre panelsA cushion cover in cream or ivory linen is probably one of the nicest bases for this at the larger size, the rounded font reads soft against that texture
- Baby shower gift wrapping pouchesStitch onto a small drawstring bag and fill it with little gifts for the mum-to-be at a baby shower, the words do all the explaining
- Gifts for teachers and school staffTeachers and school staff love receiving this on a personalised tote or apron, its a sincere gift that takes less than an hour to stitch up

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
