Theres no full head outline on this one. Its just the features floating on fabric: 2 arched ear lines in black with small pink triangles filling the inner ear, a set of long curved lashes sitting beneath the curved eye arcs, a tiny pink heart where the nose sits, and 3 whiskers extending out on each side. Above all of it theres an orange satin crown with round ball tips and a small heart cutout punched into the centre spike. The combination makes it read immediately as a princess cat without spelling anything out.
3 colours across 2 colour changes, so the swap sequence is quick. Pink comes first for the ear fills and nose, orange follows for the satin crown fill, black finishes with all the linework. The black stop carries the bulk of the stitch count, 2,995 stitches at the small size, because its doing all the outline work. The orange crown fill is smooth with Wilcom underlay holding it flat, dont skip a topping on any textured knit or the edges will sink into the fabric pile.
Stitch count is 4,850 at the 2.88-inch version up to 12,667 at the largest 6.16-inch size. Its a moderate density so most fabrics handle it fine. Light tearaway works on woven cotton, go to cutaway if youre hooping jersey or any stretch fabric for the whisker lines, those thin satin runs need a stable base or they'll distort. Hoop it snug, the whiskers especially benefit from zero movement mid-stitch.
And because theres no head fill, the design sits really nicely on patterned fabric too. A customer last summer put the 4-inch version on a pale floral cotton tote and said the cat face looked like it was peeking through the flowers. Thats alot of character for 3 colours. Pop the smallest size on a fabric headband strip or a hair clip base for a quick cat accessory that doesnt need much hoop space.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
