One colour, full stop. Proud cat mom, single dark thread all the way through. Thats the kind of single-colour word art thats actually hard to do well because the composition has to carry everything with no colour contrast to lean on. 'PROUD' in solid chunky caps at the top, large 'Cat' script in the middle with real elegance in the letterforms, 'MOM' in chunky weight below, and the whole thing framed by swirling filigree flourishes on both sides that give it a vintage typographic feel. Two paw prints sit between the words as dividers.

One colour change, obviously. Stitch count from 9,095 at 3.51 x 3.45 inches up to 22,122 at the full 7.51 x 7.38. Hoop a firm cutaway for the satin fill on the caps and the script. Use good directional underlay under all three word blocks, the Cat lettering has thick stroke transitions that need it. The filigree swirls are dense line work so dont rush the bobbin tension check before you start.

People love single-colour designs because youre not locked into any specific thread combination. I hear from customers are often doing this in a colour that matches the feline they own, which is just a very specific kind of dedication I respect. Last week someone sent me a photo of this in a burnt orange thread on a natural linen cushion and it looked genuinely beautiful. Pop it on a black shirt with grey thread, a white tote with navy, or a warm linen base in tan. The square format means it sits cleanly on almost anything.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
