Ok this one is a proper trippy psychedelic mushroom creature and its honestly my favourite weirdo in the catalogue. The cap on top is hot magenta pink with yellow-green spots dripping down the sides like melted candle wax. Underneath the cap, a green slime body with two giant aqua-rimmed eyes locked open and a wide pink toothy grin.

The drippy slime effect is the whole point of this kawaii cartoon weirdo. Everything is melting, oozing, gooing down into a puddle at the base. Cap goo drips past the eyes, body goo drips off the chin, more goo pools at the bottom in green and magenta stripes. I drew the linework heavy and black so the colour pop reads even in low light, which it kinda needs given the cute psychedelic vibe.

Made this one for a friend who runs a music merch shop and she ordered it for festival hoodies last june. People who buy this are usually doin punk apparel, music tees, halloween adult costumes, alt fashion patches. One customer ordered six on denim jacket rear yokes for a band tour run, and another stitched em on tote bags for a kombucha brand pop-up.

Stitch on black tees, charcoal hoodies, or cream canvas totes for this thing to sing. The magenta and green are loud enough they hold up on dark fabric, which is rare for embroidery, so dont be afraid to run it on black. Skip pink or green coloured fabric cos the design loses its punch when the bg matches the foreground.

Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser through the densest patch which is the green body fill and the dark outline run, total around 24k stitches even at the small end. Hoop tight and slow down through the long fill section. Polyester thread holds the colour saturation here better than rayon if youre digitising for resale.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Festival hoodies and music merchCentre the 7.5 inch size on a black hoodie back, the colours hold up beautifully against dark fleece.
  • Halloween costumes for adultsStitch onto a cream zip-up hoodie front for an adult halloween fit, no extra costume needed.
  • Punk and alt fashion patchesRun the smallest 3.5 in on patches with iron-on backing and the green pops on denim.
  • Tote bags for indie brandsPop on the side of a market shopping tote with mesh stabiliser underneath, makes a kombucha or craft beer brand bag pop.
  • Denim jacket rear yokesSix on denim jacket rear yokes for a friends band tour run, mounted with cutaway behind the lining.
  • Kombucha and craft beer apparelFront of a black bottle bag for an indie booth, hoop tight, the magenta really pops on dark cloth.
  • Stoner-themed gift itemsStitch on a small pouch as a stoner birthday gift, the 4 inch fits a 6 inch zip pouch front comfortable.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
