A vertical strip of puppies, each one different, each one round and soft and kinda ridiculous in the best way. The width stays narrow, between 1.05 and 1.75 inches, but the height goes 7.5-in span in the six available sizes, so it runs as a border down a sleeve, along a collar edge, or on a trouser leg. The pups are stacked in a column, floppy ears, chubby paws, noses pointing out, the whole cartoon dog fantasy.
9 colours total and the density hits 1642 which is genuinely the highest I have in the current pet range. The fur texture stitching on the puppy bodies builds in layers, a directional underlay first, then the body fill on top, which is what gives each pup that soft 3D fur feel rather than a flat fill. Stitch count runs from 11,617 at the 4.5-inch tall size up to 21,552 at the full 7.5-inch height.
Ive sold this to alot of people making matching dog mum stuff. A customer wrote me earlier this year saying she runs a small dog grooming business and she puts this down the sleeve of her grooming aprons as a brand element. She uses the 6-inch size on denim aprons in caramel and cream thread. Smart use of a border honestly, its more interesting than a chest badge and the vertical pup parade gives the apron personality without going over the top.
Use cutaway stabiliser only, dont even try tearaway at the full height with that 1642 density. Pick mesh cutaway so the border stays flexible on sleeve applications. Avoid jersey on sleeves because the narrow width gives very little lateral support, cotton twill or denim hold much better. Hoop the fabric snug and add topping on the ear sections to stop the satin columns sinking into any weave texture.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- dog grooming apron sleeve borderStitch the 6-inch size down a grooming apron sleeve on denim using mesh cutaway and the 9-colour pups act as a brand element
- pet mum matching hoodie sleeve stripPop the 5-inch version down a hoodie sleeve on cotton fleece for a dog mum matching set using cutaway under each bordered section
- childs pyjama leg or cuff borderEmbroider the 4.5-inch size along a childs pyjama leg cuff in cream thread on navy cotton for a sweet bedtime detail
- dog-themed baby blanket or muslin edgeRun the smallest size along a muslin blanket edge in caramel on cream fabric using a lightweight cutaway to preserve drape
- pet shop staff shirt sleeve decorationUse the 6-inch version on a pet shop staff shirt sleeve panel on twill fabric so the narrow border sits straight and firm
- custom dog lover tote bag handle strapHoop the 5-inch size on a tote bag handle strap section in soft brown on canvas and the puppy column reads on both sides
- kids denim jacket sleeve accent stripAdd the 4.5-inch strip down a denim kids jacket sleeve as a playful accent that dog-loving families order again and again

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
