Put together these lil puppy ghosts design heading into last october and the response from dog people was kinda wild. Its a vertical stack of three Rottweiler puppies, each one wearing a tiny white ghost sheet costume draped over their heads. The paws peek out from under the hem at the bottom, the snout and eyes show through, and each sheet has small oval eye holes cut into it.
Three colours throughout. White for the ghost sheets, black for the outlines and eye holes, orange for the Rottie markings on the muzzle and paws visible below the sheet. The portrait format is tall and narrow, widths run from just 1.36 inches at the smallest up to two point nine two inches at the largest. Heights go from 3.5 to peak 7.5, so the stitch count at full size reaches 27,979 which is alot of density for that width.
A customer who runs a Rottweiler owners group ordered the large for her black sweatshirt at a meetup last halloween and it was the most photographed thing at the event. Use it centered on a shirt front or as a sleeve accent column. Stitch on cotton, canvas or lightweight fleece and dont worry about trimming, theres not much thread waste at the narrow width.
Use a cutaway stabiliser for knit fabric, tearaway is fine for wovens. Pick a dark or mid-tone background colour so all three colours in the design read clearly against it.
