Played with a fuller lavender bunch for this one, its got that just-cut-from-the-garden feel where the stems spread out loosely at the top rather than sitting in a tight formal bunch. Several stems fan upward, each one carrying bloomed florets packed tight in vivid purple. The florets arent full abstract shapes, each one is individually filled with directional satin so they read as real petals catching light from different angles.

Four colours: vivid violet for the main florets, a slightly lighter purple on some of the smaller bud tips at the stem ends, bright leaf green on the stems and narrow leaves, and a few scattered small petal drops at the base in the same violet. Those fallen petals are the detail that makes it look less like clipart and more like something real, adds a loose natural quality to the base that youd miss if it wasnt there.

Sizes run from 3.5 by 2.5 inches up to 7.51 by 5.37, stitch count tops at 18,892 on the biggest, density lands at 468 per square inch, medium-light territory so it stitches comfortably without killing your needle speed. digitised in my embroidery software, colour sequence moves logically from stems to small buds to main florets so you arent jumping thread colours back and forth.

A customer used the large size on a champagne linen cushion cover last spring, the purple read really saturated against the neutral background and she matched it with dried lavender in a vase beside it. That combo works well for a bedroom. Use light cutaway stabiliser on medium weight cotton or linen. Float a layer of water-soluble topping on loose linen weave so the floret fills dont sink into the weave gaps.

Best backgrounds are cream, ivory, pale grey, soft sage or dusty blush. Skip white, it makes the stems look washed out. Message the shop if you want to know which purple thread shade worked best on the sample piece.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
