The flower is an iris, big and open, the kind that looks like its been painted from a real specimen. Six petals spread wide and each one carries directional satin stitches following the natural petal curve, so the surface has this rippling texture that shifts when you angle the finished piece. Lavender across the face, darkening to violet toward the centre where the shadows pool. Thick black outlines hold everything crisp. The golden-orange stamens in the centre are maybe three or 4 tiny satin columns but they anchor the whole composition, that warm yellow against all the purple is what makes it pop.

Seven colours, which is alot for a single flower, but thats what makes it look like an actual illustration instead of a decorative shape. industry tools went deep on the digitising here, density sits at 1,019 and stitches span from 18,270 at the 3.13-inch size all the way to 51,175 on the 6.69-inch. Nine sizes total. Proper underlay sequences run underneath each petal so everything lays flat even at the heavier density.

In February I got a message from a soft furnishings supplier who was sourcing botanical designs for a garden-themed bedroom range. She tested this on ivory silk dupion and suprised herself with how it came out. She said the directional stitching looked like brushstrokes, which is the whole point. Since then its been one of my steadier sellers with people doing textile art and home decor over apparel.

Best on cream, ivory, or white fabric so the lavender reads true and the orange centre glows. Also works on navy for a richer look. Back it with cutaway, 51k stitches at this density needs solid support or the petal edges lift. Throttle the machine back on the inner sections of the bloom. Avoid terry or waffle fabrics, the surface texture breaks up the directional stitch lines. Text me if anything stitches out misaligned and Ill look at the sequence settings.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
