Right so this is the rainbow-as-arch approach and it works really well for teacher designs. Three bold arcs: red on the outside, orange in the middle, yellow innermost, running in a clean concentric curve that sits centre-frame. At the base of the arch a red apple sits with a fresh green leaf, and a small yellow pencil leans against its side. Thats the anchor. Everything else radiates outward from the top of the rainbow arc like a burst: coloured pencils in red and blue, a green marker, a blue ruler, pink and purple highlighter sticks, a handful of paperclips in white and blue, and two small pink satin hearts right at the crest. Nine colours, five sizes from 2.8 by 3.5 inches up to 5.19 by 6.5, stitch range is 7,488 to 16,381.
The three rainbow arcs use wide satin passes with an underlay so each colour sits flat and the band edges dont feather. Because each arc is its own colour stop the transitions are sharp, not blended. The scattered supplies around the top use a light outline-and-fill approach so they dont compete with the arc but still read clearly at the 4-inch size. Apple runs a round tatami fill with a directional angle to give it that natural curved look. Density sits at 486 stitches per square inch, lighter than alot of the complex teacher designs, which means it stitches out quicker and sits flatter on thinner fabrics like a tea towel or a light tote canvas.
Last September a customer messaged asking for the petite 3.5 for a set of personalised bookmarks she was making for her daughter's kindergarden teacher and the class aide. She ran them on thick felt backed with iron-on interfacing and said they stitched out perfectly without any stabiliser drama. Thats actually a great use for the lighter stitch density, felt holds it without needing a cutaway underneath. Pair with matching thread on the back and it looks clean on both sides.
Works on cotton, linen, canvas tote bags, felt and fleece. Pale backgrounds are best but the red outer arc is bold enough that it reads on medium mid-tones like a warm grey or dusty blue too. Avoid anything darker than that or the orange mid-arc disappears. Use cutaway stabiliser on woven fabrics and stitch-n-tear on felt. Skip the topping on smooth cotton, add it on fleece so the arc edges stay crisp. Text it to me if anything in the download looks wrong and Ill check the file.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
