Its a fluffy cats face completely split into rainbow colour zones. Each section of fur, the cheeks, forehead, muzzle, ears, gets its own colour and the digitising follows the actual direction the fur grows. So you get this layered, dimensional look even though its entirely flat satin fills. Eleven colours in all, and they sit right next to each other with almost no blending, which is what gives it that pop-art punch.

The green eyes anchor the whole design, sitting dead centre with a darker outline ring around the iris. And the white muzzle zone breaks up the colour riot just enough so the face reads clearly at any size. I get asked alot if this is a print, its not, the machine stitches every section separately. Last month a customer sent me a photo of this on a black hoodie and honestly I was suprised by how vivid each zone read, the density sits around 1,400 stitches per square inch on mid sizes so the coverage is solid.

Stitch on black, navy, white or any solid-colour base and those colour sections come up hard. Skip anything patterned because each colour block needs a calm background to read properly. Go with a brushed cutaway, there are 68k stitches on the largest size and the satin underlay needs the backing to stay put. Hoop it snug, and pop a topping film on any fleece or terry base so the stitches sit on top of the pile.

Hit me up if theres any registration issue between sections, thats a quick fix and I want it looking right on your fabric.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
