This is the pastel boho rainbow heart. Five arch bands sit one inside the other, all in soft muted shades rather than bright primary rainbow colours, and theres a sweet pink heart sitting centred at the bottom under the arches. The middle aqua band has a row of small stars stitched along it which adds a tiny bit of sparkle without overdoing it. Underneath the whole rainbow runs a soft pink base line, almost like a little cloud the rainbow rests on.

Theres 7 colour stops total, all of em pastel. Soft pink, peach orange, aqua teal with the star row, lavender, mauve, plus the pink for the heart and a white highlight stop. Density runs around 425 spi gives is gentle for kids fabrics, no stiff patches. Iv kept the arches with a slight hand-drawn waver instead of perfect geometric arcs because thats what gives nursery embroidery its warmth.

I get tons of repeat orders on this one from baby boutique owners. one customer told me she stitches it on every newborn onesie she gifts, almost like her signature. Earlier this spring I had a mum order 8 of em for her daughters birthday party, each one stitched onto a different pastel cotton tee for the friend group.

Comes in 9 sizes which is more than my usual, smallest is just over 2 inches wide so its great for collar accents, sleeve cuffs, the corner of a baby bib. Biggest goes up to almost 5 inches wide which centres a small tee or hoop frame nicely. Stitch on cotton, jersey, fleece, terry or muslin. Slip cutaway behind tees and onesies, tearaway works for cotton canvas. Skip dark fabrics, the pastels disappear on navy or black. Hoop the fabric gently, the soft pink shade puckers if you over-tighten.
