Two fat fluffy clouds sit at each end and between em a whole rainbow bridge of stars arches up. Not a striped rainbow, just stars, gonna say at least 25 of em scattered along that arc in four colours, hot pink, magenta, peach orange and soft lavender, all different sizes so they kinda jostle together rather than sitting in a neat row. The clouds are that thick sky blue you see on cartoon weather symbols, chunky and rounded with those overlapping bumps across the top. Dashed lines run between the cloud bases like the stars are strung on invisible threads.

Seven colours total with 6 colour changes, and the digitising on this one is actually tidy considering how many separate star shapes are in the arc. Each star sits on its own anchor point, satin fill inside, black outline holding the edge, so even the small sizes keep their star shape without going blobby. Smallest comes in at 4,385 stitches, which is kinda just right for a baby onesie chest or a bib. The 4.5-inch wide version tops out at 13,492 stitches, plenty for a nursery pillow or a kids hoodie front panel.

I made this one after a customer last spring kept asking for something cloud-and-stars that wasnt a full moon-and-night-sky situation, she wanted daytime colours, pale and bright not dark and moody. This hit the brief. Since then Ive had a bunch of nursery sewers and toddler apparel mums pick it up, mostly for onesies, bibs and personalised kids room hoops. Its the kind of design that looks hand-picked even when ya bought it digitally.

Stitch on white or pale cream for the clouds to read clearly. Pale yellow, soft mint and baby pink backgrounds also work really well. Skip white-on-white or any ground colour close to sky blue because the cloud fill will disappear. Use cutaway stabiliser on stretch jersey onesies and tearaway on stable woven cotton. Hoop tight on the cloud sections, the dense tatami fill there needs a firm base or it can drag the fabric.

Pair the small 2.1-inch on a bib front, use the mid sizes on tshirts and onesies, and save the 4.5-inch for a nursery wall hoop or a childs cushion cover. Customising the star colours is doable if ya want a specific palette, just reach out to me before ya stitch and I can check if the file format allows a thread-list swap easily.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
