Four-line stacked quote in mixed case, the words read and scroll stitched in flowing lowercase cursive while More and Less use tall bold uppercase block letters. Tucked around the lettering, a small butterfly silhouette sits above the R, a crescent moon and a couple sparkle stars float between the lines, and on the right a wildflower stem grows out of a small stack of books. Just one colour, plain black thread, however the lettering and the line-art details do all the visual work here, not colour layering. Reads loud on cream or natural ground.

Five sizes, 3.02 inches wide at smallest up to 6.47 wide at the largest, heights from 3.5 to 7 in range. Stitch counts run from 9,210 up to 20,938. Density measures 431, a touch on the lighter side for satin work which is actually right for this design, the bold block letters use hollow-outline satin columns plus tatami fill, and you dont want the fills heavy or theyll flatten the texture difference between cursive and block. I digitised this in my standard software with directional satin along the cursive pen-strokes, the underlay is run as a zigzag perpendicular underlay so the fills stay flat after stitching, no puckering.

One customer ordered 6-inch version twice last march for a book club tote project. Shed stitched 12 cream canvas totes in three weekends for her romantasy book group with each ladys reading-tracker initial added underneath in a small block font. Said its the most-asked-about item all month.

Best fabrics, natural canvas, kona quilters cotton, linen blends, cotton tote material. Skip terrycloth because the fine cursive lines and the moon/star detail wont read on loop pile. Use medium tearaway on woven fabrics, fusible mesh cutaway on a knit tee or sweatshirt. Pop a layer of water-soluble topping on textured weaves. Add a sharp 75/11 needle. Avoid black or dark navy fabrics, the black thread will vanish on dark ground.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
