Realistic cat face shown as a left profile half portrait. Just the left side of the face, the sharp ear pointing up at the top, the green almond eye looking out, and the small orange triangular nose sitting just below it. The right side of the face fades into nothing which gives this design its sketchy gallery feel.

Fur is built from individual grey thread strokes rather than a solid fill. The strokes fan out in all directions, almost like a charcoal sketch on paper. Long black whiskers stretch out from the muzzle in fine lines. Honestly those soft fan strokes are what give this cat face its character, real artsy not cartoony.

I drew this for cat lover tees, tote bags and pet portrait gifts. Got a text last week from a customer who stitched the 4.mid 5-in size on a charcoal cotton tee as a memorial piece for her late tabby and it was really moving. Also works on cat cafe staff aprons and shelter fundraiser merch.

Comes in 5 sizes from 3.51 to 7.51 inch wide. Stitch count runs 7,461 at the smallest to 14,142 at the largest. 4 colours total, just grey, green, orange and black. Density sits around 424 which is light, so it stitches fast and wont stiffen up softer cotton.

Stitches cleanly on cotton, linen, denim, fleece and lightweight canvas. Stitch the wispy stroke version on charcoal grey or natural linen because the contrast really pops. Use tearaway on cotton, slip cutaway behind any tee. Text me a quick message if the file load fails and ill make it right.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Cat lover tshirtsCharcoal grey tee with the sketch face, cats people who hate cartoony prints end up ordering this as a non-kitsch option.
  • Pet memorial pillowsLinen memorial pillow with the pet name below, a customer stitched this as a tribute to her late tabby and it was genuinely moving.
  • Cat cafe staff apronsBlack denim cat cafe apron, large size, the sketch fur style makes it feel like a proper illustrated uniform not a novelty piece.
  • Shelter fundraiser totesShelter fundraiser canvas tote with the largest cat face above a short slogan, fills the front panel without any white space.
  • Charcoal cat tote bagsCharcoal linen tote with leather straps for everyday carry, the sketch style wears in over time instead of looking dated.
  • Cat dad denim jacketsDenim jacket back yoke for a cat dad, the half-face composition reads as an art piece at an outdoor festival.
  • Vet clinic patchesVet clinic polo patch in navy, the green eye and orange nose add warmth to a uniform that usually reads as very clinical.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
