This is the design I go to when someone wants an eagle that actually looks like an eagle. The bald eagle is caught mid-soar with wings fully spread, each primary feather individually drawn in a realistic illustrative style. The white head and tail contrast with the dark brown body, yellow beak pointing forward like its mid-hunt. No cartoon shorthand here, the feather groupings are layered and the wing shape follows the actual anatomy of the bird in flight.

No dimensions in the file data but a realistic multi-layer eagle like this typically works best at 4 inches or larger to keep the feather detail readable. Density is set for realistic shading layers so dont reduce spi or the feather texture will look flat. Cutaway stabiliser on anything with stretch, tearaway on tight woven denim or canvas. Hoop absolutely firm, the layered feather sections require zero movement between passes.

Customers run this on jacket backs, vest panels, and large tote bags almost exclusively since the design needs space to read properly. Someone sent me a photo of it on the back of a leather-look vest and it was genuinely impressive, the feather detail really showed. Also works well as a framed hoop piece for someone who wants wildlife art rather than wearable craft.

Send me a chat note if the feather sections arent stitching cleanly and Ill sort it out fast.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Jacket back large panelJacket backs in denim or leather-look fabric are where this design has the most impact at full spread wing span.
  • Patriotic vest backVest back panels for patriotic or biker-style vests let the eagle feather realism show at a size it deserves.
  • Wildlife art hoop framedFramed in a 7 or 8-inch wooden hoop it becomes proper wildlife wall art for a study or den space.
  • Large canvas tote backLarge canvas tote back panels work if you have a 5-inch hoop or larger available for the full detail.
  • Hoodie back centerHoodie backs in charcoal or olive give the dark brown and white eagle great contrast for outerwear.
  • Denim shirt back yokeDenim shirt back yoke placement is a classic western workwear look that eagle designs have always suited.
  • Man cave or den wall pieceMan cave or workshop wall pieces in a hoop frame are a popular gift for outdoors or hunting enthusiasts.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
