Terrier owners will clock this one immediately. The head is done forward facing with those characteristic perky ears tilted slightly, bright alert eyes, and that wiry textured fur around the muzzle that terrier breeds have. Eight colours with directional stitching so the fur reads like fur rather than flat brown fill, suprisingly hard to get right with dense short-coat breeds.

Ive had this one selling well since I put it up. A customer texted me last month who had stitched it on a cream canvas bag as a gift for her sister whose terrier had passed, said it looked spot on like their old dog. Thats exactly what I make these for.

Nine sizes from 3.06 inches up to 6.55 inches wide, stitch count from around 23k up to 59k on the full size. Density is 1216 so use a solid cutaway stabiliser on all fabrics, dont use tearaway at this density level. Cotton twill, denim, canvas, and fleece all stitch well. Avoid very lightweight fabrics unless youve added double stabiliser underneath.

Best fabric choices are white, cream, oatmeal, tan, and navy. Dark brown backgrounds lose fur detail in the shadows. Hoop tight with the grain square, terrier portrait designs show pull distortion more than simpler shapes. Run it at medium machine speed on the detailed face area. The 5 inch size suits bags and wall pieces, the 6 inch goes great on a jacket or hoodie back panel.

Text me through the store or send a quick message if the file format or size isnt working for your machine. Straight forward swap usually.Text me if you have any file issues and Ill get it sorted same day.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
