This one is all geometry, no leaves or botanicals. The wreath is made entirely of five-pointed stars arranged in a ring, alternating scarlet and matte black fills as they go around. The centre is open, cream space where you can add a letter or initials if you want, or just leave it as the negative space the design uses as a breathing room. Its square overall, roughly the same width and height, which makes placement on a cushion front straightforward.

Run through my professional tool at a density of 326, quite low for a fill design, which keeps the stitch count manageable across all sizes. Nine sizes from 3.49 inches at the smallest to 7.48 inches at the largest, stitch counts from 6,088 to 17,805. Because the density is low you dont need heavy stabilisation. A medium cutaway works on knit fabric, tearaway on stable wovens. The low density also means the satin on the star points needs clean hooping to avoid shifting. Avoid topping on tight cotton as the thread floats look cleaner without it. The bobbin colour matters here since the star tips are narrow satin and the bobbin peeks through at the point ends on light fabric.

On a cream pillow the red and black pop without needing a dark background. A customer last month stitched the 7-inch version on a cream cushion cover and texted me saying it was the cleanest-looking thing theyve made all year. Works equally well on tote bags or as a centred chest placement. Text me with the order number if the file doesnt come through after download. A quick download issue, easy to sort.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Cream or white throw pillow centrepieceThe 7-inch size fills a standard cushion front cleanly with the open centre creating space for a letter.
  • Canvas tote front panel with geometric themeAt 5-6 inches it sits on a canvas tote front as the main design without crowding the handles.
  • Denim jacket chest placement for a bold lookA denim jacket chest at 4-5 inches carries the geometric look well against the indigo fabric.
  • Monogram base for a personalised cushion projectCustomers add a single initial in the open centre ring to personalise cushion covers as gifts.
  • Holiday throw pillow in red and black paletteThe red and black palette reads as festive without being specific to one holiday, making it versatile across seasons.
  • Cotton apron panel with a clean modern designCentred on a cotton apron bib at 5 inches it gives a bold kitchen statement with no extra colour needed.
  • Framed hoop art on natural linenHooped on natural linen at 6 inches and framed it makes a simple modern wall piece for any room.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
