Spent time on the symmetry here. Two colours, coral red and fresh green, trading off ring by ring. The outer edge has pointed oval petals alternating between the two colours, each one capped with a small leaf tip. Moving inward smaller petal shapes step down toward the centre. At the middle theres a tight flower with a single round dot. Crisp. Sharp. None of the loose organic feel you get with hand-drawn styles, this is very clean and geometric, more like a stylised snowflake built from floral shapes than a traditional mandala.

Stitch count runs from just over 11,000 at the 3-in chest up to about 24,400 at 7.5 inches, density 435 so the machine wont struggle, but back it with a medium-weight stabiliser all the same. Tearaway on stable cotton or canvas works fine at the three smaller sizes. Use a cutaway at the 7 inch and larger to keep the satin columns from lifting. Skip stretchy knit fabrics here, the geometry needs a stable base.

My sister stitched this for her christmas tree skirt last december, and a customer ordered six for matching table napkins. Honestly it works all year on home decor if you dont lean into the christmas angle in the styling. Ive stitched it on white linen and it reads botanical not festive. Try white or cream cotton canvas if you want maximum contrast.

Send me a note if theres any problem with the download and ill get it sorted quickly.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas table runners and napkinsStitch on white or cream linen table runners, the 5 or 6 inch size works well as a repeating motif.
  • Festive tree skirt panelsUse the 7.5 inch size on a tree skirt panel, back with cutaway stabiliser to keep satin stitches flat.
  • Cushion cover accent patchesStitch a single motif centred on a cotton cushion cover front at the 5 inch size.
  • Tote bag front panelsPop onto a canvas tote bag front, the 5 inch size sits nicely centred on a standard bag.
  • Framed hoop wall artHoop on white cotton and frame in a natural wood hoop for minimal wall art.
  • Fabric coaster setsUse the 3.5 inch size on round fabric coasters backed with felt, four coasters per set.
  • Year-round botanical home decorStitch on cream canvas storage baskets or fabric boxes for a botanical room accent.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
