"Reel Cool Dad" is the obvious fishing pun and this one commits to it fully. The word "Reel" is set in a big bold style and "Cool Dad" sits underneath in a contrasting lighter script or print, with a fish or reel graphic woven into the layout. Five colour build with navy and orange as the dominant threads, a lighter highlight, dark outline, and a teal or green accent. professional embroidery software mapped the stitch direction on the fish motif so the satin angles along the body length, giving the fish a bit of scale-like texture in the final piece.
Five sizes, stitches open at 8,710 on the 4.01 inch small version and reach 18,619 at the 8.01 inch large. Density of 290 is moderate so the design doesnt stiffen up lighter shirt fabrics. Pop a soft cutaway underneath. The design runs tall and wide at the larger sizes so hoop a big enough frame to avoid distortion. A customer last june ran the 6-inch on a khaki fishing cap and said it fit perfectly in the crown panel without touching the brim seam. Thats the placement most people go for with this one.
Use the 8 inch version on a tee front or a vest chest panel. Run the smaller 4 to 5 inch sizes on caps or hat panels. Navy on white is the classic combination here but olive, tan, or stone fabrics also work really well with the earthy colour palette. Stitch in the full 5 colours for the punchiest result, dont reduce the count or the fish detail gets muddy.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
