Its a circular badge layout. Reel is written in a big sweeping script at the top of the circle, curving along the badge edge. Cool Dad sits at the bottom in chunky block capitals, matching that curve. In the centre of the badge a large bass fish is jumping, mouth open and body arched, and inside the fish silhouette theres a tiny figure of a fisherman standing on a shoreline with his rod out. Decorative scroll flourishes bracket the fish on both sides. The whole thing is two colours: red for the Reel script and Cool Dad text, and charcoal black handles the fish, fisherman, scrollwork and fine linework.
5 sizes from 3 inches wide pushing 7 inches, stitch count from 8,721 to 20,927. Density is 510, medium and very manageable. Two colour changes per stitch-out, start with red thread for the lettering sections, then swap to charcoal for the fish and detail work. Good tearaway stabiliser on woven fabrics handles this fine. Use cutaway if youre hooping any kind of knit or stretch fabric because the large fill sections can distort without solid backing.
Father's day is when this one really picks up but people order it all year for fishing dads and grandads. One customer told me her husband saw it on his shirt and didnt realise it was custom, thought it was a shop-bought design. She ordered 3 more for his brothers after that. Its a clean enough design to pass as a proper branded tee without screaming homemade.
Stitch on olive green, navy, charcoal or cream cotton twill for a proper outdoors shirt feel. White works too but the classic version is navy or olive. Avoid any fabric with texture because the fine fish detail and the tiny fisherman silhouette need a flat ground to stay readable. Pair the 7-inch on a shirt back with the 3-inch on the chest pocket for a layered look.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
