Reindeer antlers with Christmas lights tangled through them. Wide and horizontal. Two brown antlers side by side, the satin-fill stitch gives a directional texture across the surface, and black wire loops all round the tines in that chaotic way real fairy lights end up when you pull them out the box in December. Its a bit mad, which is the point.

Six coloured bulbs hang off the wire ends. Red, green, teal, orange plus two others, all solid filled circles. Ive been selling this one for a few Christmases now and its always the colour mix that keeps people coming back to it. Its not just a kids design. Adults buy it too, usually for a sweatshirt or a beanie where they want something festive but dont want to go full tinsel. People have been putting it on beanies positioned up on the cuff so it reads like the wearer's actually got antlers. Stitch it across the chest of a sweatshirt and it works without needing anything else around it. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser for knit fabrics like fleece or jersey so the wire lines stay crisp after washing. Dont use tearaway on fleece with this one, the stitch coverage wont behave.

Stitch it onto a denim tote instead and the contrasting colors stand out sharply on dark fabric. Six colour stops means your machine'll pause between each one. Dont rush the colour changes. Let each stop reset fully before you move on, especially on the smaller sizes where the bulb circles sit close together.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas beanies and knit hatsPlace it on the front of a beanie cuff and it reads like the wearer has reindeer antlers on, always gets a laugh
  • Holiday sweatshirts and Christmas jumpersCenter chest on a sweatshirt is the obvious placement, the wide shape fills that space naturally
  • Festive tote bags and reusable shopping bagsThe colorful bulbs pop well against dark canvas tote fabric, especially black or navy cotton
  • Children's holiday party outfits and topsKids' Christmas outfits love this kind of bright multi-color design, nothing understated about it
  • Christmas stockings and seasonal wall piecesRun it near the stocking cuff on white fleece and the red and green bulbs show up sharply

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
