This fella is a proper round chubby reindeer, 5 inches tall at the medium size, the kind kids instantly love. Hes standing upright with these stubby little hooves out front, holding a wooden-look sign that says MERRY CHRISTMAS across it in red and green lettering. Red Santa hat sitting slightly sideways on his head, a stripy red scarf tucked round his neck, and those massive round doe eyes with the little white highlight dots in them. The sign has got Christmas lights looped all the way round the frame, greens and yellows against the cream wood colour.

18 colour changes in this one, which is a fair few so Back it with a solid cutaway stabiliser. The density on this file runs high, over 1,400 stitches per square centimetre at the largest size. Five sizes total, smallest is 3.5 inches wide, biggest stretches to 7.5 inches. Stitch count goes from 26,000 at the bottom end up to nearly 58,000 at full size. My daughter stitched the 5-in build for a kids red jersey knit top last Christmas and it came out exactly like the preview. The satin fills on the scarf stripes she said were her favourite part, really crisp colour-to-colour lines. Ping me if anything with the file isnt right after download.

Best fabric choices are stable ones. Medium-weight cotton twill, denim, or canvas all work great. Avoid jersey or stretchy knits for the larger sizes unless youre using cutaway and a topping layer because the dense stitch count wants support. Use a tearaway on firm woven fabrics in the smaller sizes if you dont want to fuss with cutaway.

Really suits kids Christmas clothing since the character is so friendly and round. Also good on tote bags, cushions, and Christmas table runners. Go with white or cream fabric if you want those warm brown and red tones to stand out at their best.

What people are using this design for

  • Baby gifts and first Christmas keepsakesStitch the smallest size on a white cotton bib for a sweet first Christmas baby gift that actually gets used.
  • Christmas tote bags for school and daycareWorks on a natural canvas tote for a kids school bag that stands out in the cloakroom all December.
  • Festive throw pillows for children's bedroomsUse the large 7.5-inch size centered on a cream pillow front for a cheerful kids room seasonal cushion.
  • Holiday aprons for little bakersPop it on an apron bib in the medium size and pair with a matching rolling pin or spatula for gifting.
  • Christmas table runners with a fun kids themeA runner with 3 repeats of the small size spaced across cream linen fabric looks brilliant as a table centrepiece.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
