The sunflower here is only half there, literally. The left half sits like it's growing into the frame, those long open petals done in outline stitching with the centre disc filled in that rich golden amber. Its the kind of compositional choice that I think looks way better on fabric than a full flower would - theres room for the lettering to breathe on the right side.

The quote runs in 4 tiers of script, 'Rise' biggest at the top, then the middle lines getting a bit smaller, then 'Sunshine' coming back strong at the bottom. Little red hearts are scattered willy-nilly around the text, and these tiny gold star bursts dot the corners. Reminds me of something youd find in a vintage journal, sort of. 5 colors only, so colour changes are fast - 4 stops total.

Nine sizes available, smallest at 3.16 x 3.5 inches running up to 6.77 x 7.5 inches. Stitch counts start at 14,579 and go to 33,382. Lighter stitch load than alot of my quote designs actually, so it sits nicely on thinner fabrics like linen or lightweight canvas. One customer wrote me last november - she'd put it on her mum's hospice blanket and said it meant alot to the whole family. That kind of message stays with ya. Digitised in my embroidery software. Lay a light tearaway under linen before you hoop. Pair with a topping on towelling so the stitches sit clean on top. Skip dark fabric colours if you want the outline petals to pop - they wont show on navy or black.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Canvas tote bag main panelChemo tote order for a sister carrying it to every appointment, the 6 inch on canvas with polyester thread holds wash after wash.
  • Left chest cotton tee printLeft chest tee at 4 inch reads the script cleanly even on a small placement, the underlay was tuned for legibility.

  • Pillow cushion front faceReading-chair cushion fronts at 5 inch with medium cutaway, depending on whether the cover is for show or sleep choose rayon or polyester.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
