Two words, two weights. 'Be' sits in smaller delicate script at the top, 'mine' bold and chunky below in thick brush letters. Both near-black thread. Behind them theres a red heart traced in that loose freehand double-line style, not a filled satin heart, just the outline drawn with a bit of movement to it, like a quick hand-sketch. A few small red hearts dot the upper corner for a bit of scatter.

3 colors, 9,513 stitches at the smallest size, up to 24,653 stitches at 7.5 inches wide. Medium density at 540, fine on most woven cotton and linen, just make sure your stabiliser is firm enough to support the thick brush-lettering sections. The contrast between the sketchy heart outline and the solid bold text is what makes this work. So many customers tell me they tried other 'be mine' designs and this one hits differently, and honestly I cant argue with the feedback.

One customer picked this up last February, ordered it on a linen gift bag as a repeating pattern at two different sizes and she sent me a photo, looked genuinely beautiful. Stitch it on a valentines tote. Put it across the bib of a journal cover. Use it on a pillow that stays out past February because the design is simple enough not to scream holiday decor. Pop it on the left chest of a zip hoodie. And dont skip the tea-dyed cotton if you want a vintage look, the near-black on cream is something else.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine's Day tote bags and canvas gift bagsAt 5-6 inches on a tote bag the text and heart balance each other without needing extra elements.
  • Linen or cotton pillow covers for year-round romantic decor20 inch pillow at 7 inches fill -- the sketchy outline keeps it from feeling heavy in a room.
  • Journal and notebook fabric coversLinen journal cover with medium cutaway stays stiff without the stabiliser showing through.
  • Zip hoodie front left chest placementLeft chest zip hoodie at 3.5-4 inches -- subtle but readable; double-line heart reads as intentional.
  • Tea-dyed cotton projects for a vintage romantic feelTea-dyed cotton deepens the red and makes the dark thread richer -- photographs beautifully.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
