Two little figures standing together, each one holding the string of a big heart balloon floating up above em. The man and woman use a clean outline style with 8 colours filling in the skin, hair, clothing and the balloons. Theres 3 colour changes between the figures and the balloon fills, but nothing complicated once youre in the flow of it.
5 sizes running from 2.5 inches wide up to 5.3 inches. Stitch counts go from 8,890 on the smallest to 23,288 on the largest. The balloon sections have a solid satin fill so they come out smooth and glossy looking. The figures themselves use directional stitching on the clothing so you get some nice texture variation between the two characters.
I made this one for anniversary pieces and valentines day but it sells year round for wedding gifts too. A customer last spring ordered a bunch for personalised tote bags as hen party favours and they looked brilliant. She stitched em on cream canvas with navy thread for the outlines and said everyone assumed they were bought, not handmade.
Pair it with a name or date underneath on cotton, linen or canvas. Use a cutaway stabiliser because 8 colours means density is spread across the whole design. Skip super stretchy jersey for the smaller sizes, the detail tightens up.
Run it at a medium speed so the colour blocks meet cleanly. Slow. Patient. Worth it. Thats kinda the rule here. Heres my advice. Im strict on this one. Drop me a note if anything looks off and Ill sort it fast.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Anniversary keepsake towelsStitched on a white cotton hand towel with a date underneath it makes a really sweet anniversary keepsake.
- Valentines day tote bagsOn a cream canvas tote with names below the figures it works as a valentines gift that feels personal and handmade.
- Wedding party gift pouchesA small version on muslin drawstring pouches fills out a wedding party gift bag beautifully without fuss.
- Couples matching shirtsMatching shirts for a couple with the design centred on each left chest is a fun coordinated valentines look.
- Hen party favour bagsMultiple bags done up for a hen party favour set, all the same design but each with a different name underneath.
- Baby shower gender reveal giftsOn a soft flannel or minky fabric it reads sweet and gentle for a baby shower or gender reveal gift.
- Personalised cushion coversA larger version centred on a plain white or cream cushion cover makes a bedroom anniversary decor piece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
