Two hearts, one sitting slightly behind and larger than the front one so you see both at once. The layering is what makes this different from a simple single heart, theres actual depth here because the back heart peeks out around the edges of the front. Four colours across the two layers means each gets its own fill tone, and theres decorative satin and tatami fill work going on within the foreground heart, the kind of texture combination that catches the light when the fabric moves. This design is wide and not very tall, more landscape than square.

So its 4 colour changes, 5 sizes from 3.5 inches at 10,827 stitches to 7.5 inches at 36,313 stitches. High density at 780 means youre getting properly saturated fills. One of my customers stitched this on a burgundy sweatshirt in contrasting cream and rose tones last winter and shared the snap, the layered effect on a coloured fabric looked completely different to white and was honestly better. The decorative inner fill detail is what sells this one in person.

Use cutaway stabiliser for sure, the density and stitch count needs solid backing. Hoop your fabric snugly because with 4 colour layers any hoop shift will misalign the heart outlines. Run each colour change cleanly and dont rush. Pair this with a mid-tone base fabric if you want all four colours to read clearly, very dark backgrounds can absorb the darker of the four tones.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
