This design has been one of my better-selling wedding pieces since I put it up last summer. The trick of hiding two faces inside the wine glass silhouette is the kind of concept that looks more complex than it is, 2 colours only, stitch counts from 5,435 at the 3.51 inch size up to 14,835 at 7.51 inches, density at 586. Its genuinely light for a detailed design. Works well because the composition is smart, not because the stitch count is huge.

Two colours means zero drama at the machine. No colour changes mid-run, no stopping to swap bobbins. Hoop on a light tearaway stabiliser for woven fabric, thats all it needs at this density. On any fabric with stretch put a cutaway underneath instead so the satin outlines on the glass rim stay crisp over time. One customer recieved her finished wedding cushion and messaged me saying her mum actually occured to her that it looked like real embossed art rather than machine work. Thats the reaction you want, and its why I keep this one in the wedding range.

Five sizes. The 4 inch version fits a wine glass bag or a small cosmetic pouch front. the 7-in top size goes on a pillow or a framed wedding gift piece. Stitch it in dusty rose on ivory fabric or champagne gold on white. Pair it with names and a date added in a simple serif font via your machine's lettering module for a personalised wedding keepsake, dont skip the topping layer if youre stitching on linen, the satin faces need a clean surface to register properly.

Use it on champagne bags the wedding party carries, on Mr and Mrs pillowcases, on a bridal tote, or a framed print for the couple's first home. Skip polyester satin fabric here, the needle drag pulls the underlay out of position on very slippery bases. Dm me if you want to discuss a custom size and I can check if the file adapts cleanly without redoing the whole digitising.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
