Worked up this girl silhouette after seeing so many customers use the floating hearts style on valentines stuff. The composition is vertical, the girl is kneeling down in the lower half and all the lil hearts float up in a big cloud above her that forms a heart outline overall. Its 2 colours, black for her solid silhouette and pink-red for the mini hearts above her.
The black silhouette is a proper satin fill, you get that smooth dense look on her body and hair. Each individual floating heart is satin-filled, there are quite a bunch of em, which is why the stitch count runs 8,265 at the smallest up to 21,692 for the full 7.51 inch version. Density is 633 so its gonna need a good cutaway stabiliser especially on stretch fabric.
5 sizes ranging from 3.51 inches tall up to 7.51 inches. A customer this valentines put the 5 inch version onto a black cotton tee and said it came out absolutely perfect, all the tiny hearts popping against the dark background. I can see that working realy well. Skip light coloured or sheer fabrics if youre customising the silhouette colour, black shows best on mid to dark backgrounds.
Hoop with a cutaway behind any knit or stretch material. Tearaway works on woven cotton. Pop it on a crew neck, a tote, a canvas pouch, really does the job for valentines day gifts. Send me a quick line if anything with the download doesnt work out.
