Two birds sitting close together on a branch, both leaning slightly toward each other. You kinda know what they are without needing a label. The dusty rose fill on the body has a directional feather texture rather than a plain satin block, and thats what gives them that soft three-dimensional look. Tiny cream florals dot the branch around them. Doesnt take much to make this one recognisable.
Its a complex file and my main software ran the underlay passes carefully to handle the density across 4 thread colours. Stitch count goes from 19,705 at the smallest 2.72-inch wide size up to 44,162 at 5.83 inches wide. Eight sizes total. Density of 1,009 stitches per cm means this design needs a proper heavy cutaway stabiliser, not a tearaway. The feather texture stitching on the wings is gonna look flat if the fabric shifts mid-hoop, so secure your hoop tension before you start.
Use this on blush canvas for a clean look. A wedding ring bearer pillow in natural canvas is probably the most common placement customers request. Stitch the 4 to 5 inch version centred on the front with a heavy cutaway behind. Quilt blocks at the 3-inch size work well aswell. Add it to a linen sachet or a bridal hanger cover for a handmade gift that doesnt look generic.
If you want to organise a wedding gift set, one customer told me this spring she stitched the 3-in feature on three matching linen napkins and the 5-inch on a matching tote. I thought that was a clever way to use the same design across a whole set. The sage in the branch reads differently on ivory versus on natural linen, so test both if you can.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Stitched on a blush canvas ring bearer pillow for a wedding ceremonyCanvas ring bearer pillows need a heavy cutaway stabiliser; centre the 4 to 5 inch size on the front panel.
- Embroidered on linen napkins as part of a handmade bridal gift setLinen napkins are best hooped individually with a water-soluble topping to stop stitches sinking into the weave.
- Placed on a quilt block as a romantic centrepiece for a memory quiltQuilt blocks in cotton-poly at the 3-inch size use a medium tearaway stabiliser with no topping needed.
- Used on a fabric sachet or lavender pouch as a wedding favourFabric sachets cut from cotton lawn hoop flat at the 2.5 to 3 inch size with a tearaway behind.
- Sewn onto a cotton canvas tote as a romantic everyday carry giftCanvas tote front panels take the 5-inch size with a medium cutaway; hoop at centre and run at standard speed.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
