Red vine heart frame, 6 sizes from 2.76 to 7.34 inches, and the outline isnt drawn as one line. Its built from 4 or 5 tangled vine strokes that run parallel and weave around each other like wild bramble. The heart shape reads clearly from any distance but up close theres real texture in there. At the bottom-left interior theres a short stem with two small solid red hearts resting on it. One is smaller than the other, it looks like they just landed there. Single colour, all red, 1 thread from start to finish.

Stitch count starts at 5,060 and goes up to 14,916 on the 7-inch, that density is light enough that it stitches fast even on the largest version. The vine strokes use directional satin column work so the overlapping sections dont get messy, each strand keeps its own direction and the bobbin side stays tidy.

I get messages from wedding planners about this one more than I expected. One customer told me she stitched it on cream linen table runners for a valentines wedding and had couples names monogrammed in the centre space. The 7-inch was exactly the right scale for that. She said it looked like the vine grew there naturally, which honestly is exactly what I was going for when I digitised it.

Pop the 7-inch on a white cotton tote front panel with a name or quote stitched in the open heart space. Use a medium tearaway stabiliser on woven cloth, switch to cutaway on knit. Skip busy printed fabrics here, the vine texture needs a plain background to read properly. The thinner vine strokes at the top need the fabric completely taut in the hoop or they shift sideways during stitching.

Smaller sizes work on gift card holders, handkerchiefs, or a cotton shirt chest pocket. Run the 3-inch in a corner and it barely takes 5 minutes.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Wedding table runner name frameStitch the 7-inch on cream linen table runners and add names inside the vine frame for a wedding table setting.
  • Valentines market tote front panelUse the 6-inch on a white canvas tote front for a valentines market stall gift that looks genuinely handmade.
  • Handkerchief corner accentRun the 3-inch in the corner of a white cotton handkerchief, works well as a wedding or anniversary keepsake.
  • Cotton shirt chest pocketPop the small 2.76-inch on a cotton shirt chest pocket for a subtle botanical heart accent without being too obvious.
  • Linen gift card holderStitch on a folded cream linen rectangle and sew into a gift card holder for a wedding or birthday present.
  • Nursery wall hoop with name insideHoop the 6-inch in a round frame above a cot, leave the vine centre blank for the babys name later.
  • Anniversary card fabric insertCut a 4-inch piece on white cotton, mount inside a card with a window panel, makes a fabric anniversary card insert.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
