Heres the running flamingo and shes mid-sprint in a pair of chunky white sneakers. Long pink legs kicking back. Beak forward. One wing flared out for balance. The whole pose feels like she just heard the ice cream truck and dont want to miss it.
Seven colours layer through this one. Hot pink covers the body, soft baby pink shades the wing and belly, peach lifts the cheek and beak tip, deep red anchors the beak, and charcoal black handles the outline plus the laces. The shoes get a clean white satin fill so they pop off the leg. Tiny splash marks trail behind her feet which sells the running motion and its honestly the best part of the design.
What makes this design fun is the proportion. The legs are skinny and wobbly, the body is round, the head sits forward like its leading the charge. I drew it for kids apparel originally but adults keep buying it for half-marathon and 5k race tees. I get DMs every march from running-club mums wanting this on cap-sleeve tees and they all say the cotton-poly blend handled the satin laces beautifully.
Stitch on a plain white or cream tee for cleanest read. Pop a small 4-in design on a kids polo or onesie and the cartoon energy reads instantly. Pair on a navy or pale blue tote for a fun gym-bag look. Avoid charcoal or black backdrops, the coral feathers go muddy on dark stock and you cant see the splash detail. Steer well clear of dense pile sweatshirt material too, the small splash bits get swallowed.
Density runs high at 34k stitches on the largest size, 14k on smallest, with 6 colour changes and 56 trims. Hoop with a stable cutaway under knit or jersey, tear-away works on woven cotton and wont sag. Run a stitch-out on scrap before final placement, the directional satin on the sneakers benefits from a pre-test and youll catch any tension issue early. Email a stitchout if a colour change misfires on your software.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
