Single colour, just black and white, and its kinda the whole point. This little fluffy dog is full sprint, all four paws lifted off the ground at once, ears and fur blown straight back like hes going flat out. Tail curled upward in a confident arc. The way my main digitising tool digitised the fur, with dense cross-hatching and directional line work, ya get this almost woodcut or engraving feel rather than a flat silhouette.

Longer flowing lines on the coat and belly, tighter satin columns around the face and paws. One colour throughout, which honestly makes this realy versatile. Nine sizes from 3.5 inches wide full 7.5, stitch count sits light on the small end at around 8.8k and climbs to 25k on the biggest which is managable for most home machines without drama. The underlay keeps the black fill sections crisp and avoids that fuzzy look ya sometimes get with single-thread designs on loosely woven fabric.

I made this one partly for puppy mill rescue advocates who wanted something simple they could put on fundraiser tees without a big colour budget. Reach me on chat if the file gives you grief and I can send the tearaway notes separately. One buyer from a dog agility training club grabbed the 6-inch for their team jackets last september and said it stitched clean on cotton twill first go, no adjustments needed.

Works on basically anything light. White cotton tees, cream linen tote bags, light grey canvas. Pick a pale base so the black lines pop. Skip dark fabrics here since its a single black thread design and dark ground eats the detail. Use a medium tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabric, swap to cutaway if youre gonna hoop a jersey or polo shirt. Stitch at standard speed, the directional fur sections can occasionally catch if ya rush the machine through dense areas. Reach me here if anything about the file doesnt load right and Ill send you a fresh copy.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Puppy rescue fundraiser tees and tote bagsStitch the 5-inch on a white cotton tee for a puppy rescue fundraiser run, single colour keeps printing costs low too.
  • Dog agility team jacket embroideryRun the 6-inch on the back of a cotton twill team jacket for a dog agility or flyball club.
  • Personalised pet memorial cushionEmbroider the medium size on a cream linen cushion cover and add the dogs name underneath for a memorial piece.
  • Kids cotton backpack or school bagPop the 4-inch on a canvas kids backpack flap, it reads clearly even on a smaller surface.
  • Grooming salon staff apron pocketSew the small size on a bib pocket of a grooming salon apron for a clean branded look.
  • Linen tea towels for dog loversUse the 5-inch on a linen tea towel and give it as a housewarming gift to a dog-obsessed friend.
  • Cap or beanie embroidery for dog ownersHoop the smallest size on a cap front panel, single colour stitches quickly and sits flat under the brim.
  • Wedding ring bearer dog bandana patchAttach the tiny 3.5-inch to a bandana for a dogs neck using adhesive tearaway before tacking down edges.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
