Four safari animals kinda just balanced on top of each other like they thought its a completely normal thing to do. The big blue elephant is on the bottom doing all the heavy lifting, trunk curling up happily. The bubblegum pink hippo sits on his back, a lil wobbly-looking but clearly fine with it. Then comes the striped zebra balanced on the hippo, and right on top is the golden lion cub grinning down at everyone like he planned the whole thing. Its stacked vertically so the design is tall and narrow, perfect for bib chests and cushion centres.

14 colours and the software I use did a truly solid job of keeping all the tones clean and separate. The zebra stripes get digitised with tight satin columns, theres no bleed between the pale white and the black bands. The hippos pink body uses a gentle tatami fill with soft shading around the belly to give it a rounded shape. Lion cubs mane sits in separate directional sections so it fans out convincingly. The elephants smooth underlay stitching keeps the blue flat and even, which is the trickiest bit to get right at small sizes. Smallest size is 3.5 inches and all four animals still read clearly. Biggest runs to 7.5 inches with around 51k stitches.

I first digitised this last year for a safari nursery mural project, one customer wanted it on a set of cushions in different sizes going down the cot side. She kept customising the background colour on each one and she wasnt finished till shed ordered four. Now I see it coming up on kids room wall hoops, baby shower sets, zoo volunteer tees, the lot. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser whatever fabric ya choose, the column count is moderate but the character stack is tall and needs to stay properly hooped top to bottom. Stitch on white cotton for clearest colour, cream fleece for a softer nursery piece, or a pale sage canvas tote. Pop the small size on a baby bib and the whole tower fits nicely below the chin.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
