Its the word 'Salty' in a big bold filled script, the kind of chunky lettering you can read easy from the other end of a room. Tucked in above the letterforms is a small red sunrise icon, a filled semicircle with radiating lines like a sun burst. Below the word, 3 simple horizontal wavy lines suggest ocean water. Thats the whole design, 2 colours: charcoal black and red, clean and readable at every size.
Nine sizes, starting at 1.91" x 3.51" and going up to 4.07" x 7.51". Stitch counts run 3,404 to 8,092, its genuinely fast even at the larger sizes, most people finish the 4" version in under 45 minutes. Digitised by industry software so the bold filled letterforms stitch flat and clean without gaps at the edges. On towelling and terry cloth use cutaway stabiliser, it holds the dense fill flat against the pile.
Pop it on beach towel corner, a canvas tote, a hat brim, works on just about anything coastal. I sold alot of these last summer to people personalising gift sets for beach holidays. The word is kinda an in-joke for ocean people, it doesnt scream "tourist" the way most beach text does. Stitch it in white on navy and it looks equally good, the outline pops hard on dark fabric. Email me if the file wont open and ill swap it same day.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Beach tote bag chest panelCornwall coastal gift shop merchandising run, customer wanted marker lettering rather than formal calligraphy for her beach towels and totes.
- Terry beach towel cornerLay soluble film on terry beach towel corners or the satin sinks into the loops and the script loses definition.
- Summer tee chest accentSun and salt exposure handled by polyester thread on canvas beach totes, holds the dusty navy colour through repeat summer use.
- Kid beach hat bandReads as boardwalk sign on a cotton or rayon tank top centre, the bouncy script fits relaxed coastal pieces without trying hard.
- Holiday tank top centreStitches at 265 spi which is feather light, the script is satin only with no fills so the design wont stiffen a soft beach cover up.
- Cotton cover up back yokeKeep heat low when ironing afterwards, the satin stitches flatten if you press too hard so a gentle touch finishes cleanest.
- Weekender duffle front pocketHolds a kid beach hat band when hooped flat with painters tape over the seam, the bouncy script reads even at 3.5 inches.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
