This is the sanderson sisters scene done as a vintage halloween poster. Three witch silhouettes fly up out of a black bubbling cauldron, each one in a different colour. Sanderson arches across the top in serif text with small black bats flying around the letters. Sisters curves underneath the cauldron. An Est 1993 banner sits across the front of the cauldron, theres a nice nod to the original hocus pocus movie release year. Little star sparkles dot around the witches.
Customers have been asking for hocus pocus designs every october since the new movie dropped. One customer ordered this for her annual hocus pocus watch party where eight friends needed matching shirts last october. Another grabbed it for her daughters 13th halloween birthday party last week aswell.
Comes in 5 sizes from 2.39 inches wide to 5.1 inches, vertical orientation since the witches stack up tall. Stitch counts run 11,902 to 28,255. Honestly its quick on the machine for the smaller versions. Best on cotton tees, sweatshirts, denim, canvas tote bags. The vintage poster look reads especially well on cream or pale orange shirts.
Hoop with a cutaway stabiliser since the tiny 1993 text wants solid backing to keep crisp. Slow the speed when stitching the text sections, the curved serif letters can get jumpy on a quick run. Skip dark navy tees since the purple sister wont have enough contrast. Thats the only fabric Id avoid honestly. Heres a tip, stick with cream cotton for the cleanest read.
