Sketched out this one after a few dads in my customer messages asked for something their boys would actually get excited about wearing. The truck is the star here, big chassis, scarlet body, cream wheels that are almost as tall as the cab. Santa is tucked inside the cab with his white beard sort of hanging out the window, hat on, looking like he traded in the sleigh. Eleven colours, 4 sizes from 4.36 inches reaching 7.28 inches, and stitch counts running from 45,444 all the way to 78,750. Heavy. Dense. Built.

my main software output this at a density of 1440, one of the denser designs Ive worked on. The scarlet body uses long directional satin fills that need a stiff base to read clean. Use heavy cutaway stabiliser on everything, no exeptions with this one, tearaway wont hold the underlay at that stitch count and you'll get pull and puckering in the wheel sections. On thick fleece or sweatshirt fabric use an extra layer of backing plus topping film to keep the fill lines from sinking. Hoop firm, dont rush the run.

A customer grabbed the 4.36-inch file last november for a batch of kraft canvas totes for a school christmas market. She told me the trucks stitched out suprised her, cleaner than she expected given how many colour stops it has. Pop this on a navy fleece zip hoodie for a kid who doesnt want the typical reindeer jumper. The scarlet and cream thread reads well on both dark and mid-tone bases. Skip white or pale yellow fabrics where the cream wheels might get lost against the ground.

Stitch it on a kids sweatshirt front for a December school run outfit theyll actually want to wear. Add it to a canvas Christmas stocking panel for a bold front decoration. Run the smallest 4.36-inch on a baseball cap panel with extra-stiff cutaway backing. Best on structured wovens and fleece where the stitch density has something solid to hold onto. Avoid thin jersey, the eleven stops are too much and the fabric shifts mid-run.

Text me through the shop chat if you spot anything weird in the download and Ill resend it quick for you.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
