A tall pointed hat is the whole personality here. Striped red and white all the way up, a little wobbly at the tip, with tiny white dot trim along the brim. No face visible, just a small round nose peeking out, and then the beard takes over completely. Big, wide, fluffy white beard, speckled with short black marks giving it the shaggy dense look. Two round red shoes at the bottom. Five colours, around 32,000 stitches at the 7.5-in build.

Stitch down on a firm cutaway stabiliser especially at the larger sizes, the beard section is heavy and needs a stable base. Satin stitch on the hat brim trim detail looks sharp on medium-weight cotton or linen. Use a medium-density fill setting and the white coverage reads really clean. Customers tell me each winter the beard texture turned out better than they expected, which is the main technical challenge with gnome designs and worth knowing about before you set up.

Pop it on a linen table runner for that nordic christmas look, or stitch on a tea towel as a quick seasonal gift. Ive seen it on tree skirts, throw pillow covers in cream or oatmeal fabric, tote bags for winter markets, and toddler sweatshirts for people who want cozy holiday outfits without the full santa theme. Works november through january, not just christmas week. And if something doesnt look right when you open the files, just text me and Ill get it fixed.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
