Small hearts scattered and tumbling around a rectangular frame border, none of them perfectly lined up, which is exactly what makes it look handmade rather than stiff. The hearts are different sizes and sit at slightly different angles, like someone tossed them and let them land. Four colours: red, hot pink, light pink and white. The density is 340 which is on the lighter side, so the fabric still breathes and the hearts dont feel heavy or rigid.

This one works as a standalone frame or as a border to surround some text you add separately. A customer last valentines asked me if she could put a name inside and I told her yes, any embroidery software lets you centre text inside the frame stitched area no problem. Sizes run from 3.06 inches wide up to 6.56 inches, with stitch counts from 8,374 to 16,731 across 5 size options.

Hoop on a soft cutaway for jersey and knit fabrics, tearaway is fine on quilting cotton and linen. The scattered layout means theres no single dense area that needs extra backing support. Mapped in industry-grade software with colour-change stops between each of the 4 shades. Run through the colour order before you start so you dont accidentally swap pink and red mid-stitch.

Stitch on a white or cream base cloth and the 4-colour palette sings. I've used this on sand-coloured canvas tea towels and the pinks read really softly against that warm background. Skip very dark base fabrics, the light pink thread can look washed out on navy or black. Any questions about the file just Email me and Ill get back to you quickly.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine gift wrapping fabric squaresCut fabric squares with this stitched on them and use as Valentine wrapping instead of paper.
  • Framed embroidery hoop wall artIn a 7-inch hoop with white linen and red thread, this makes a simple but lovely wall art piece.
  • Monogrammed pillow covers with name inside frameAdd a name or initials inside the frame in the same embroidery session for a personalised pillow.
  • Baby shower heart-themed bibs and burp clothsThe lighter density is gentle enough for baby items like cotton bibs and burp cloths.
  • Tea towel sets for Valentine giftingA set of 4 matching tea towels with this design is a really popular gifting bundle to make and sell.
  • Tote bag accent designLeft-corner placement on a linen tote in two of the pink colours is subtle and really pretty.
  • Quilt block bordersQuilters use the larger 6.56 inch size as a repeating block border on heart-themed quilts.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
